컴퓨터를 하기 시작해서 검정치마 a.k.a. holiday cho의 블로그를 염탐(?)

S is for Steve
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

The moment

When I was going through 고3, I usually studied at the library. When I got sick of studying, sitting at the same spot for several hours, I went to this place where I could be surrounded with books. It was the very end of the library, and there was this huge window, which warm and piercing sun rays came through. It was usually around 2 p.m. when I went to that place. The atmosphere created by afternoon sunlight and books was so soothing and dreamy that I felt like I could almost touch it. I read books sitting on a red stool, leaning my back on a wall. Being a 고3, I could not read many books, but I savored every book I read. My favorite one was “The Hottest State” by Ethan Hawke.

The time I spent at the place worked as a painkiller. It made the things I was going through so much bearable. It is one of the moments that I love the most. I am going to go to the school library tomorrow to return a book and enjoy the moment for the last time before my graduation.
